Your Trip

The night before (suggestions)

ü      Don’t go out drinking

ü      Don’t eat greasy foods

ü      Do get a good night’s rest

What to bring

ü      Nonskid shoes, sneakers or topsiders.  Please do not wear black-soled shoes, due to the marks they may leave on the deck.

ü      Clothing suitable for the weather conditions.  This means rain gear or warm clothing,  if necessary.

ü      Sunscreen

ü      Sunglasses

ü      Hat

ü      Seasickness medication.  If you are not sure if you will become sick, it is better to be safe than sorry.  There are good amounts of people that prefer the patch, which doesn’t cause drowsiness, as an alternative to medication.

ü      Lunches, snacks and beverages. (NO HARD ALCOHOL)

ü      The remainder of your balance and a minimum of a 15% tip for the mate.

  • Lastly, be sure to bring some heavy duty Ziploc bags and a cooler along to bring your catch home with you.
