Policies of the Ship

Deposits:

A deposit of $150.00 is required to reserve your date.  The remainder of the total will be due on the day of the trip.  If the deposit is not received within 15 days of the booking, the date will become available to other potential charters.

Checks:

There will be a $30.00 penalty fee for any checks returned by the bank.

Cancellations:

All cancellations must be received in writing (snail mail or email) 30 days prior to scheduled trip or deposit will be non refundable.  The captain reserves the right to cancel the trip due to adverse weather conditions at any point before or during the trip.  There will be every attempt made to reschedule the trip should this occur.  If a date cannot be agreed upon, you will receive your deposit back within 20 days.  If the trip is already in progress, it will be discounted accordingly.

Mates Gratuity:

The Mate works hard for you all day.  To compensate for this, there is a minimum 15% gratuity fee payable to the Mate, so please plan accordingly prior to your trip.

Tackle and Equipment:

The Charter (this means you) is responsible for costs of any damages or loss of equipment due to neglect or horseplay.

Trip Termination:

It is to be understood that the captain is in charge of the vessel at all times.  The trip will be terminated without refund if anyone in the charter does not listen to the captain or mate’s instructions.

Alcohol and Illegal Drugs:

There is a Zero Tolerance policy aboard this vessel.  What this means is that we will not tolerate the use of illegal drugs and/or hard liquor.  Don’t let this end a great day of fishing and a fun time.  A sensible amount of beer or wine is acceptable, but we ask that you please be responsible.  Other people do not want their day ruined by you.

Fish:

The charter with the exception of large, medium and giant Blue fin Tuna, which are retained by the boat, can keep all fish that are caught.  In the event that a giant Blue fin is captured, your party will get a free inshore date!!  All other fish must be within state and federal size and amount limits.  There will be no undersized fish kept aboard this vessel!

Number of People on Board:

We ask that you keep in mind that we will accommodate 1-6 individuals per charter.
